"Celebi... A Pokemon with the ability to time travel?... Psh."
A young woman stood at the entrance of the dark Ilex Forest, with only a fox-like Pokemon standing by her side. Althea and her Ninetails had just recently finished a mission for Team Rocket back in Azalea Town. The thought of a group of loud-mouthed grunts doing a quick investigation at the Slowpoke Well was enough to give her a headache. The police would've been all over them like a shot... Nah, she didn't want to think about it. Solo work always seemed best to her, it looked less conspicuous.
A small breeze disrupted her thoughts as the surrounding trees and bushes began to shake and rattle in unison. Althea looked up, the sky was completely blanked out by the tall trees which made up the forest. Of course, there was a reason why she was here in the first place. She began to move forward, her boots squelching on the muddy dirt path beneath her feet. The more frequent taps made her head tilt down slightly, where her Ninetails came into view, "No one will find us here. It's a nice place for a break..." As she spoke, she seemed to press a button on her overly large headband, basically turning off her communication link to the fellow Team Rocket officers.
As the pair moved deeper into the forest, following the twists and turns of the path, Althea decided to stop once more. She gently folded her arms and surveyed the area. Obviously, all she could really see was greenery, but she wanted to find a little more than just green. "Legendary Pokemon..." Althea started, not necessarily talking to anyone, "...Why are they so special, so powerful? So hard to obtain." Her voice spoke in a gentle, almost confused tone which trailed off. Pokemon really interested her and probably most humans for that matter, but why were there special ones aswell? Were they there to keep the world at balance? What if they were ever captured? "...What if Team Rocket have plans for them."
Shaking her head, she began to walk once more, "Celebi is said to live deep within the Ilex Forest at a shrine. I feel like paying it a little visit."

At times it wasn't so bad not having any means of actual transportation other than walking. You got to see the countryside, meet interesting people, find interesting knickknacks - that sort of thing. It made for some interesting stories sometimes. Other times....it was incredibly tedious and tiring. Wes arched his lower back and cleared his throat. The Goldenrod hotel bed wasn't half bad, the bed was comfortable anyway. Wes turned over and pulled the covers closer to his body, only to have them yanked the other way. He half groaned. "Ampharos....Quit it...." He heard the Electric pokemon groan too as he pulled back. Eventually the two reached a middle ground on blanket location and went back to sleep for a little while longer.
Wes was a heavy sleeper, and he enjoyed the somber and relaxing feeling that overcame him when he awoke. Ampharos usually didn't jump up on the bed, he subconsciously assumed that the Electric type had popped out of his ball and crawled into the warm bed during the night while Wes was fully under. His other Pokemon usually stayed in their Balls unless they were called out, but Ampharos liked - and had became accustomed to - being out of his ball and enjoyed walking around with his Trainer. He let out a groan and shifted, the time when you had to wake up was the worst. The Blonde sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes before looking over to Ampharos - who was already staring at him much like he usually did. Wes waved. Ampharos waved back.
So, after getting dressed and whatnot, Ampharos stole food Wes had been packing for his meals and ran off - much to Wes's annoyance. He probably wanted to eat some now or something. Wes used Magneton's magnetic senses to follow it into the Illex Forest, an odd place for the Electric Type to venture to. Wes looked over at Magneton and waited for it to locate Ampharos again after being spooked by a few Natu.
Ampharos laid down the bag that held the food for him, his Trainer, and his fellow Pokemon in front of the Celebii shrine carefully. The Yellow pokemon would occasionally chirp in excitement, imagining the surprise on his Trainer's face when he realized just how smart he was for doing this! They had never gone to the Celebii Shrine before, as odd as that sounded seeing as they spent their time keeping track of those Powerful Pokemon that even Ampharos looked up to. Ampharos bent down to bite down on the zipper and yank the bag open, revealing the food - mostly bread and fruit - and the Pokemon food and spare Pokeballs. Ampharos's tail brightened and he began laying the food out on a small tarp Wes carried with him just in case. Ampharos cheered - how smart he was, how smart~!!
