Wes had really been minding his own business - truly! He had just been stopping in to grab some grub at the famous Olivine Cafe, all his Pokemon were in their balls so it wasn't as if Ampharos or Jolteon could have created this trouble for him. No, he had been sitting at the bar just a few moments ago - completely minding his own business by the way. Wes had just picked up his first beer as he waited for his food to cook, but before he could even take his first sip, this Drunk Sailor came over and started making trouble - talking his mouth off loudly, his entire body wreaking of booze. Turns out the girl he was trying to hit on was more interested in Wes than a Drunk Sailor - go figure. The Sailor knocked over his beer rudely and challenged him to a battle over the girl - who Wes hadn't looked around for actually, but he wasn't about to back out now.
The Sailor dragged him outside, down to the pier - yelling and drawing attention to himself all the way. Wes knew immediately that this was going to be a short battle - guys like him were all bark and no bite after all. Wes sighed, he probably would lose his spot at the Cafe now because of this guy's idiotic shenanigans.
The Guardian lazily looked on as the Sailor called out a Machoke and began to dig into his pocket for a random Pokeball - not really putting much of any thought into battling this Man seriously. Wes tossed up the red and white object and with a pop and a flash of white light, Jolteon standing there, quickly noticing that this was a battle so she couldn't run over and glomp Wes. The Electric type pawed at the ground and began to spark - taunting the Machoke for a minute before letting it die down. With a loud, slurred yell the Sailor gave the signal to Machoke to lunge for Jolteon, who just used Agility to get herself out of the way. This continued for a few minutes until Wes's apathetic, cool, calm voice pierced through the air. "Jolteon use Charge Beam."
Jolteon let out a cry as her body becomes surrounded by yellow sparks before she fires a massive blast of electricity at the Fighting Pokemon. Machoke took the attack completely, and thanks to its inexperience, it fainted right there. Wes blinked and was then promptly felt Jolteon rubbing against him affectionately. He looked down, smiled slightly and praised her lightly before returning her to the ball.
Wes looked around, they had drawn a crowd, but with the Drunk Sailor out of the way Wes was free to leave. So much for dinner. Wes let out a sigh and plopped down at the end of the pier with a bored expression on his face. What should he do now? Go back to his hotel and grab something to eat? He had seen the food...it hadn't looked all too appetizing. Wes let out another sigh and curled his leg underneath him as he tried to get comfortable in this spot.

Aria brushed a few loose strands behind her ear as she walked, boots thudding against the concrete as she walked with purpose. Actually, Aria had no where to be; she just walked fast naturally and she preferred to look as though she was walking to a particular destination because it made it less likely that someone would stop her on her way. She didn't enjoy it when people tried to stop her to talk, and so walking quickly made her seem too busy for smalltalk.
Her Mightyena Cody was walking at a relaxed lope next to her, muzzle pointed forward but ears twitching and swiveling, taking in all sounds. Aria looked down at him with a soft smile. Always alert. Cody slowed his pace, staring forward with perked ears. Aria slowed as well, watching. Up ahead was a group of people surrounding what she was sure was a Pokemon battle. Sparks filled the air, and Aria recognized the attack as a Charge Beam. Impressive.
She stood and waited as the crowd dispersed, leaving the victor sitting at the end of the pier. Aria looked down at Cody, who was simply staring ahead with his bright red eyes. He looked impassive. "Thanks for the advice," she said down to her faithful Pokemon. He looked up at her with a slightly bemused expression before returning his gaze to the man at the end of the pier. Aria exhaled then began to walk down it. Her Mightyena followed, head and tail both held high in pride and authority.
"An impressive win," she said to the blonde, running her fingers through her hair. [/blockquote]

Wes turned his head and let his eyes behold the woman standing behind him. His bored expression didn't leave his face, and he only shrugged off her complement. "I guess...". He turned back around, scratching the back of his head before a pop broke him out of his mundane thoughts. The blonde turned around only to his Ampharos, standing as still as a statue, with his usual blank stare. Wes stared at his Ampharos, who was staring at the woman's Mightyena. 'He's about to do something stupid, I know it...' That's when Ampharos suddenly let out a happy call and practically bounded over to the Woman's Pokemon, trying to touch his oddly shaped hair.
Wes had never known a Mightyena who enjoyed a happy, static-ridden Ampharos touching it, so obviously the Guardian predicted that this one wouldn't either. This had happened on three other occasions and Ampharos still hadn't gotten the message. Oh well, perhaps a snap or a bite this time would send the message over loud and clear. Wes waits about thirty seconds to pull on his Pokemon's tail, sending a light jolt of electricity though him. Wes jumps in his skin and immediately recoils back. Maybe that wasn't the way to get his Pokemon away from the Jaws of Death, he should have just used the Pokeball.
With his hair now standing up and his body now immobile, Ampharos finally turned around and proceeded to have his own little freak out, running around Wes's body, sprawled out on the edge of the dock. His eyes were open and moving, but he had no control of his body whatsoever. Desperate, Ampharos's 'hands' took a hold of the Woman's shirt, pulling on it and gesturing to Wes, asking her to help his poor, poor Trainer.

Aria was unsurprised by the blonde's response. Her response probably wouldn't have been too different. Her delicate eyebrows rose, however, as an Ampharos burst from one of the man's pokeballs and bounded towards Cody, expression gleeful. Cody remained standing still but lowered his head slightly and let out a soft growl. When that didn't work, he bent and snapped at the Ampharos' heals, giving him the clear message that he didn't enjoy the peppy Pokemon in his face.
Aria watched calmly - she knew that Cody wouldn't really hurt the Ampharos - with her hands on her pockets. When the Ampharos' owner came and tugged on it's tail, he got zapped by the yellow pokemon's electricity and collapsed. Aria rolled her eyes. Smooth. Immediately the Ampharos panicked and ran over to Aria and began frantically tugging on her shirt. Cody outright snarled at the Ampharos, hackles raised, but Aria put her hand on his shoulder, letting him know it was fine. She was actually amused with the electric type. It was a lot like her Plusle. Perhaps it was in the nature of all electric types to be extremely hyper and extremely good-natured.
"Hey, it's okay. Here," she said, walking over to the man. She bent her knees so she was still on her feet but she was close to the ground. She flicked his cheek, then grabbed a lock of his hair and tugged on it. Cody walked forward, ears forward and tail up as he bent his head and sniffed the man's cheek. Aria's eyebrows rose. Was Cody going to actually lick the man's cheek? But no, Cody sniffed his cheek once more, then leaned back and sneezed. "I don't know what else to do for him," she said to the Ampharos. Ampharos let out a frustrated cry and knelt down near his Trainer, who was blankly staring back at him. Wes was aware of what was going on around him, and knew that the paralysis would wear off soon, but Ampharos did not - Ampharos wasn't thinking this whole thing through. The Electric type jumped up and tugged on the Woman's shirt once again, pointing to Wes as if asking her to watch him. With that, Ampharos ran off, down the dock - most likely in search of a PokeMart, how he would buy a Full heal, Wes didn't know. Wes let out a hum from within his throat and looked up at the Mightyena above him, oh....oh he did not like this position at all. Wes blinked his eyes, wondering if the Trainer would abandon him or stay with him.
His mind mulled over the possibility, a girl tending to a injured man - how romantic. Now, thanks to Wes's brain being in his lower half, his mind then wandered onto the subject of what he was going to do next. He hadn't spent time with a woman in a while....whether it was in a casual setting...or in the bedroom. The women he worked with were different, he didn't think of them as objects of pleasure, which is a surprise to many who might think that he thinks of sex all the time.....though this isn't wrong unless he's on a mission.....
Wes lets out thoughtful hum as he heard familiar, quick footsteps run down the dock. Ampharos let out another cry and threw the Full Heal at Wes. He let out a pained noise when it hit him in the head. Ampharos stared down at him...waiting for the medicine to magically kick in....

Aria watched the Ampharos scurry away, wondering vaguely what he would do. She looked back to the trainer, wondering what she should do herself. She found she didn't quite care, but at the same time she did. She didn't want to just leave him here, because it wasn't as thought she was heartless or anything. Maybe if she had something pressing to do she would have left, but she really didn't have anything to do for the rest of the day. She rolled her eyes but leaned back and sat on the dock, elbows on her knees.
Cody licked his chaps once, glaring down at the blonde man before deciding that taunting him just wasn't worth it. He snorted and sat back on his haunches, knowing that his owner wouldn't leave by her body posture. Aria scratched behind Cody's ears, running her fingers through his long bangs. He shook his head once her hand left his head, then leaned forward and licked her hand once. She smiled down at her beloved hyena Pokemon before turning back to the blonde. She wondered if he could hear her. Probably. She sighed down at him. "Maybe now you know not to grab an electric Pokemon's tail, hmm?" she said, tone mocking. She rubbed her cheek, the scarred burned tissue rough to the touch.
Looking him down, Aria noticed he was pretty attractive. She had always thought her type were brunette's but then she paused. She had never even had a type anyway. She had never really looked for men before. She cocked her head to the side, eyes still slightly narrowed. He was extremely attractive, actually. eyes bright blue. She realized she wasn't wearing her red goggles and immediately averted her gaze, not wanting him to notice her different colored eyes. She knew that most people didn't, as her left one wasn't that much lighter, but it was still enough to make her uncomfortable.
She needn't worry about it for much longer, because the pitter-patter of Ampharos' feet reached her ears. Cody's ears twitched in the direction but he didn't even bother to look. Ampharos chucked something at his masters head, and Aria swallowed a snort of amusement. She picked it up and immediately recognized the color of the spray bottle as a Full Heal. "I've never thought of using it on a human. Will it work?" she said, mostly to herself. If it did work, it would indeed be interesting. She wasted no time and sprayed the man right in the face, then sprayed his arms, legs, and back, until the bottle was empty. There. That should do it. She sat back down on the dock, arms crossed and expression mildly interested. Cody's expression matched hers. [/blockquote]

"Maybe now you know not to grab an electric Pokemon's tail, hmm?"
Wes let out another short grunt from his throat, it was either that or let her Mightyena maul his precious Ampharos. That would have been awkward, his Ampharos injured or dead even and a pissed off Wes to deal with. He would have never forgiven anyone who aimed to harm his Pokemon - outside of battle of course. That was why he didn't like Team Rocket at all, they thought they could hurt, steal, and exploit Pokemon all they wanted without reaping any of the consequences. They caused endless pain, endless destruction just for money.
"I've never thought of using it on a human. Will it work?"
The Electric Guardian would have let out a sigh of relief if he could when he felt the cool spray of the Full Heal. For once Ampharos had done something on the smart side. It took a few minutes to kick in, but eventually Wes let out a groan and began to stir. Ampharos let out a happy cry as the Trainer began to sit up, placing a hand on the side of his head. Ampharos began to trot forward, idiotically trying to hug his Trainer, but he only met his Pokeball. Wes had whirled around with it in his hand and with a red beam the Electric type disappeared. Wes let out a sigh of relief and finally met the eyes of the Woman as he came to his feet. "Thanks for sticking around I guess." He said in his usual monotone, his blue eyes piercing into her purple ones.
He pointed to his left eye. "Nice pair of eyes you got there." He let his arm fall as he took a step toward her side, careful of the Mightyena of course. She was quite the dame in his eyes, silky black hair, intense eyes, a kicking body - Wes tried his best to keep his eyes on her face, though his lower-half did do a lot of this thinking for him, especially when off-duty and with a pretty lady....

Aria watched as the man slowly rose. Clearly the Full-Heal worked. She was mildly surprised, but not enough to comment on it. Cody watched the gleeful Ampharos jump over to it's owner happily with an expression akin to a disgusted scowl. Aria spotted this and flicked his ear gently, as if reminding him that if she were in a dangerous situation, he would be pleased she was alright. He snorted and shook his head before licking her hand once in response.
She fixed her gaze onto the man, clenching her fists as she looked him up and down once. She saw him looking her over, and while she wouldn't call him out on it - she wasn't ashamed of her body - she would not hold back on looking him up and down as well. Aria wasn't an overly sexual person, but she couldn't help imagining him shirtless. He was good looking, no mistake. Cody gave a muffled bark, not liking the attention she was giving to the pathetic man. Who was he to take his master's attention? He fixed his red-eyed glare on the blonde man, tail up in defiance.
The blonde man turned and put the Ampharos back into it's pokeball before turning and speaking to Aria. She shrugged. "Nothing better to do," she said. But when she spoke of her eyes, her nonchalant expression morphed into a scowl. Cody knew she did not like her odd eyes and let a low growl rumble through him, but Aria put her hand on his head. "I'd have to disagree, but thanks anyway," she said. Cody gave Aria an angry glare, then bucked his head upward, jerking Aria's hand off of his head. His growl increased, letting the blonde know that he wasn't happy and he didn't like him. Aria shifted her gaze from Cody to the man, indecisive about what to do. She knew Cody wouldn't attack him, he just liked to talk big. Maybe he just wanted to vent some steam through a pokemon battle. Whatever the case, she let him do as he pleased. [/blockquote]
