The train rushed into the station, slowly coming to a stop and opening its doors. People filed out, talking about trivial things, looking for their loved ones, and others...taking their dear sweet time getting out of her way! Diana gritted her teeth as she glared into the back of heads - most of them were tourists from what she observed to be a mellow, relaxed pace. Tourists were troublesome, slow, and SO annoying. She dug out her pocket watch and looked at the time through half-lidded and apathetic eyes. Her foot began to tap loudly on the Train's aisle floor as her eyes narrowed dangerously. The man in front of her made the mistake of looking her in the eyes - he gulped at the women's P.Oed expression. Diana tapped her now closed watch and watched him scurry away in a rush. Content, Diana smiled in a cocky way as she put her watch away. "Now that's more like it." She strutted out of the train car, stepping onto the platform - into the mass of people.
Diana dusted off her outfit, tapped her shoes against the pavement, and straightened out her jacket cuffs repeatedly as she waited for the train to leave. She didn't want to deal with those idiotic tourists anymore. They were so slow and always wanted to stop to take a picture of NOTHING. The Team Rocket Admin snorted and folded her arms as the train let out a hiss, a beep, and then disappeared down the tracks in order to be cleaned and whatnot. She watched its receding figure, her mind backtracking to the meeting she had been in with a few other Admins with the Boss. It was nothing special - just reports on what they were doing. It wasn't anything big on her end - they were still in the planning stages of the project after all.
She had other plans for her own agenda; however, keeping the Boss away from the Legendaries was proving fruitful so far. A voice in the back of her head told her constantly that she could not keep this up much longer - Diana knew that. She began to walk out of the station, making her way through the tiled halls with few people in them. If only people weren't so stupid...maybe they'd see things her way. Diana snorted, people were too ignorant to do that. They just wanted to continue with their small, insignificant lives - blissfully unaware of the uprising happening right under their feet. Diana continued into the lobby, moving through it quickly, making her way out into the open. Back in Saffron - in Kanto. Diana dusted off her sleeve and let out a small hum before continue on her way through the streets - toward the Lab. They were probably running around like headless chickens without her there....

The crowds of Saffron zipped past at the speed of sound; people were more worried about making that appointment that started five minutes ago. Heads were buried in newspapers, blaring music from earphones that were slowly turning people deaf, gossip chit chat between friends and unfriendly phone calls ("What do you mean the bloody thing has been delayed by another fricking month?!?!") were all keeping the city alive and kicking.
Amongst this crowd, on a typical wooden bench that was outside the Saffron City train station, a girl with dark brown hair and an orange cream outfit sat. Next to her a small, silver-gray Pokemon with large turquoise eyes. As is if being a machine, the young girl's hand dug into a cardboard box, pulling out small, brown pellets, which were Pokemon food. Holding out her hand, the gray Pokemon happily ate the food, completely oblivious as to her trainer's rather foul mood, instead focusing on stuffing her face. Normally a happy person, Harper would normally jump at the chance to explore a new city - new people to meet, food to eat and a gym battle to ensure. Alas, it was not the case. Why, might you ask? Well, there was only one reason.
Kanto.
What is in Kanto exactly? Well, if you happen to be the Dragon Guardian - not a whole lot.
Do they have dragon legendaries in Kanto? Noooooo. They just have a bunch of birds and some weird psychic types that live in God knows where. Of course, being here wasn't apart of her schedule. Harper had been recently pulled from the Sinnoh region - where she had been studying the three beautiful dragons Giratina, Dialga and Palkia - and was told to move her behind to Saffron City for a yet to be revealed reason. A down side of working for a secret organisation - they love sending you to places, but don't tell you what you're doing till a whole 6 hours after arriving. "There better be enough food in this box to last us the entire day of just sitting here." Harper grumbled to Aron.

Diana paused and dug into her pocket for Roserade's pokeball. There was a flash of red and white light before the Grass-type appeared before her with its usual flair. She smirked down at her Pokemon before it hopped up onto her shoulder suddenly - as if looking at something in particular. "What is it Roserade?" Her lavender eyes flickered over to a certain girl with an Aron sitting on a bench together. Diana tried to pass it off if she were checking the girl out, as most of her underlings or fellow Guardians knew of her fickle sexual preference. She of course recognized the girl as no other than the Dragon Guardian for the Guild, but she wondered if the girl would recognize her for they hadn't worked together much. Roserade back-flipped off of Diana's shoulder and ran a little past the bench, turning and waiting for his Trainer. As the Team Rocket Admin walked past the bench, she slipped Harper a fleeting glance, hoping that the girl would take the hint and follow.
Harper was a smart girl and Diana thought that she would surely realize that as a Spy for the Guild that they must not just randomly walk up to each other and start a conversation out in broad daylight. And so, Diana and Roserade hoped they would follow at a reasonable distance behind them - making it look oh so casual of course. Roserade knew already where they were headed, their thinking had become so alike during the many years they had spent together after all. The two of them make their way down a few streets, around a more than a few corners, and finally into a more than shifty looking park - if a park could simply 'yell' shifty of course.
Roserade jumped back onto his Master's shoulder, gripping it tightly as they approached a the huge crowd around the ring. Standing outside of it, one could just could just barely see the Battle happening at the center. Diana casually dug out her Father's Pocket watch, flipping it open to check the time and to give Harper a few extra seconds before Diana made her way through the crowd.
"Ursaring! Finish it off with a Hammer Arm!" Ursaring let out a deafening roar as he lifted his arms up into the air, his forearms glowing white just before he slammed them into the Lickilicky. Now, the battle had been rather one-sided as Diana and Ursaring had several years more experience than their opponent, but at least this would teach them something. There were a few slash wounds on the Normal-type - but Diana had purposely ordered Ursaring to hold back just a little before they knew their opponent better. The Normal type went down, its trainer ran to its side and Ursaring turned around and walked back to his own Trainer. Roserade was reclining next to Diana, barely watching the Battle and his head on his folded arms.
Diana praised Ursaring lightly, and one could just barely see the happiness that briefly came and passed in the Bear's eyes before it was covered by his usual scowl. "Okay, return Ursaring." With that, Ursaring dissipated into red light and disappeared into his ball. This was the Duel Square of Saffron, where the Trainer who won continued to battle until they lost. Battles didn't stop here - and there were no timeouts. She expected Harper to be her next Opponent.....or at least she hoped that the girl had inferred that far into Diana's own thoughts.
(( *SOOOOOO ISN'T AN ASS* If you don't think they would know each other I can change it - I just thought since....they're in the Guild together....they'd at least have an inkling of the others existence...... *IS SHOT* ))

Still rather peeved at the fact that she was stuck with no instructions on what to do, Harper's negative thoughts were broken when a young girl passed her - this young girl's gaze stayed for a little too long.
Harper wasn't really planning to do anything - people these days always had ways of expressing themselves through their outfits. However, seeing the girl's Roserade back flip, plus impressive speed, Harper immediately saw the immense power she had. But something was bothering Harper - this girl looked rather familiar.
Deciding to follow her, Harper packed up the Pokemon food into her backpack. "Arron?" The steel type asked. Harper turned to Aron. "Hmm, oh, we're going to follow that trainer with the Roserade. I swear I know her from somewhere" Harper replied. "Arrrroooon" "Ahh, you want to go back in the ball?" The steel Pokemon nodded her reply. Clipping Aron's Pokeball off of her belt, Harper held the ball in her hand, an arm's length away from Aron. "Alright, Aron. Return!" A red beam of light erupted from the centre of the ball and landed on the gray Pokemon and she returned to her ball. Re clipping Aron's ball onto her belt, Harper pulled another Pokeball off and threw it into the air. "Salamence, I need you assistance!". Appearing from a brilliant, white light, Salamence roared and stretched his wings. "There's a girl ahead, she has a Roserade on her back. Find them in the air and stay with them. I'm following her." "Mennce!" And with that, the dragon flew up, searching for the given trainer.
Throwing her backpack on her shoulders, Harper began to walk at a fast pace, in order to keep up with Salamence. While walking, Harper began a mental list of all the trainer's she knew that had a Roserade - especially a male one. She certainly wasn't a trainer from the Celadon City Gym or the Eterna City Gym; she'd still be there if that was the case. Maybe this girl was apart of the Guild........
Running through her list, she went through the Elemental Guardians - she knew a few, but this girl certainly wasn't one of them. The only other options were those who were in a higher hierarchy. With that thought, Harper ruled out the Leader and the Commanders - all who were males. The only option left was for her to be an Elite Officer - people who Harper had barely dealt with - she wasn't the Dragon Guardian during the 'Team Galactic' saga. The only time she had dealt with them was when......and then it clicked. It was Diana.
Diana Lockehart. She was an Elite Officer with the Guild. She was currently assigned to spy on Team Rocket. "Meennce!!" Salamence was calling, indicating to Harper that there was something happening. While she had been figuring out that it was Diana she had been following, Harper and Salamence had arrived at a park in the middle of town. It seemed to carry a rather dark, sinister aura.
Looking around, she saw a huddle of trainers around what seemed to be a makeshift battle arena. In the middle, Harper saw an extremely powerful Usaring, who then was returned to his Pokeball. It seemed after watching the previous battle, some trainers were leaving, obviously aware that their prowess was outmatched with the trainer who had just won. Looking up, Harper saw that Salamence was eying the field - the first indicator that he was rearing for a battle.
Pushing through the crowds, Harper came face to face with Diana - the Usaring belonged to her. Smirking slightly, Harper walked to the opposing side of the arena. "My, my. You seem to have powerful Pokemon. Care to test them out against mine?" Harper hoped Diana would accept - she hadn't had a good match in a while - Salamence was always unhappy when opponents hadn't been very challenging.

Good. Harper was up for her little game. Diana smirked widely, wondering how big the margin of power was between them. Would her earned status as an Elite Officer be enough to snag this win for her? Or were Dragon Pokemon truly a force to be reckoned with? Diana's smirk somehow seemed to widen even more as she dug into her pocket and fetched out a pokeball. Roserade looked up curiously, a little miffed not to be included in this battle, but was quickly silenced with an apathetic gaze. "I'd love to, just don't get your hopes up about winning, Little Girl." With that Diana threw the pokeball into the air and with a pop, a burst of white light, and a call of her own name, Vaporeon appeared in front of everyone. Her body seemed to sparkle as she stretched her body to show off just how beautiful and well-kept she was...or at least she thought she was.
"Okay Vaporeon, let's start things off with a Quick attack!" Vaporeon lets out a bark almost and charges at Salamence seemingly without fear, a white trail is left behind it from the speed of the Attack. Vaporeon attempts to tackle the Dragon Pokemon before quickly darting away to regroup. Diana's hands ball up into fists as she gives this next order. "Now try Water Pulse!" Vaporeon lets out a sultry call, spins herself around, and raises her tail into the air. A blue ball of energy appears above the tail just before the Water type slams her tail and the ball into the ground, sending a wave toward Salamence, attempting to not only damage it, send it back, but possibly confuse it since that makes everything easier, but confusion didn't happen all too often sadly.
(( SO SORRY FOR THE SMALL STUBBY POST Q.Q ))

Harper smirked and hung her head to one side. It was just the start of the battle, and insults were already flying.
With Diana sending out Vaporeon, Harper quickly straightened herself, crossing her arms against her chest, her face was wearing a frown. Being a Dragon Trainer, Harper was well aware of Water types and their god damn ability to use Ice type attacks. Knowing Diana, she would probably have at least one Ice attack with her Vaporeon - most probably a Special Attack, due to Vaporeon's generally having a weak attack base.
And this was a slight problem for Harper, as most of Salamence's attacks were all physically based attacks - leaving her with quite a problem when going in for the attack.
With the battle starting, Diana ordered her Vaporeon to use Quick Attack, which Salamence dodged with ease. Harper noticed that Diana curled her hands into fists - she wasn't happy about Salamence dodging. Her next order was a Water Pulse; a water type move wouldn't do too much damage, but there was also the chance of Salamence becoming confused. Raising her right hand, pointing with her index finger, Harper began her counter attack.
"Alright Salamence, take the hit" And with that, the glowing blue ball hit the Dragon Pokemon on his front, causing the massive water to explode on impact. "Attack back with Dragon Claw!" Erupting from the spray of water, Salamence charged at an incredible speed, his whole body tilting to the right, as his left front claw was arched, glowing a bright white colour heading towards Vaporeon. ((Hopefully this is ok.........Sorry for taking so long to reply!!!))

A plan began to form in her mind as all of this began to fall into place. Diana's eyes hardened, she knew that she couldn't use Ice Beam willy nilly - that would be wasteful, and she knew that Harper knew that she wanted to use Ice Beam. Knowing the Guardians and how much the majority of them trained, Vaporeon would not be able to hit Salamence unless they used a decent amount of strategy to do so. While the Quick Attack was used solely to try and connect some sort of attack, when she had ordered the Water Pulse, Diana had been hoping to lure Salamence close enough to Vaporeon. It had been a stretch of course, but she had bet her money on Harper's Salamence being an expert in Physical Attacks.....since Salamence's Attack stat is pretty.....'beast' as the kids say today.
"Vaporeon take the hit and then use Ice beam!" And that was exactly what Vaporeon did, despite the type advantage that Salamence had over it. Vaporeon was sent back by the attack, but thanks to the flexibility of the Water Pokemon, it was able to land on it's feet and open her mouth. A series freezing, electric blue beams was shot forth from her mouth and headed toward the Dragon-type, who - Diana hoped - was still close and hadn't flown off with that high speed stat of his.
While Diana knew that, naturally, Vaporeon was not a quick or nimble creature, but to the Admin it was incredibly important and thus, Diana trained Vaporeon hard in it. It wasn't rocket science, just pit a notably fast Pokemon against the one you're training - easy and simple. In Vaporeon's case, Diana trained her against her own Rapidash and the occasional member of the Zubat family. She did this with all her pokemon, but the stat she trained depended on what she wanted out of the Pokemon
(( SELECTIVE EV TRAINING FTW................ *SHOT*. Oh and sorry for the obnoxious wait love ><;;; ))
