Personality
Risou is not a friendly person. She takes great photos, and is a great actor, but she is very anti-social. If you do manage to get close to her, she does care a lot about things she loves and cares for. However, most people are never included into this circle of trust. Mainly, the only ones she trusts, are her Pokemon. She especially has a strong distrust of other girls, and is wary of their spiteful nature.
Around males, she is a little more relaxed, though often rude. She is still very wary of them, and will NOT allow any of them to touch her, or invade her personal space. Doing this, is asking to get kicked where the sun don't shine. She talks a lot of smack when backed into a corner, but relies very heavily on her Pokemon, and will often call all of them out if she feel threatened.
Appearance:
Pokemon:
Kadabra (AKA: Chad)
Pokemon's movesets:
Miracle Eye | Psybeam | Confusion | Reflect
Pokemon description:
Chad is a very quiet, and slightly creepy Pokemon, who hardly ever talks. He may be, by far, the smartest Pokemon in her team, but he almost never puts his brains to good use. He is rather lazy, and likes to sleep a lot, not much different from his pre-evolved form. He's pretty much left to do what ever he pleases in battles, with little prompting from his trainer.
How you obtained that Pokemon:
Risou obtained Chad when he was just an Abra egg. She found him on the road, hidden in a clump of grass. She took him home, and managed to keep him a secret until he hatched. After this, he stuck close to her side, and she took him everywhere. He really brought out the maternal side of the young girl. She slowly raised him past the baby stage, and was soon entering battles with him. By age 12, he was finally ready to evolve. And evolve he did. As her first Pokemon, he always travels with her.
Pokemon:
Absol (AKA Abby)
Pokemon's movesets:
Night Slash | Bite | Quick Attack | Double Team
Pokemon description:
Abby is a very spunk Pokemon. She loves to get dirty, and playing is what she does best, next to battling. She is very dependent on Risou, needing her guide her in battles more so than the other Pokemon. She is actually perhaps the dumbest Pokemon in the team, and has a tendency to charge right into things. She's very headstrong, and stubborn with strangers.
How you obtained that Pokemon:
Risou found Abby half dead. She had gotten into a fight with Mightyena from the forest. She was beaten, humiliatingly so, and forced to retreat. She took shelter in an alley not far from Risou's house. Risou discovered the Pokemon when a loaf of bread fell from her basket, and rolled into the alley. She chased it to find it clenched firmly in the paws of an Absol. Abby was very wary, and mean to Risou at first. Abby escaped back into the forest. She ran into the Mightyena again, once again severely out numbered. Risou stumbled upon the battling Pokemon, and immediately took charge. With Risou's battle experience, and a bit of help from Chad, who was an Abra at the time, they won. Abby came along peacefully after that.
Pokemon:
Houndoom (AKA Grim)
Pokemon's movesets:
Thunder Fang | Beat up | Flamethrower | Smog
Pokemon description:
Grim is a very mean spirit. He's spiteful, and doesn't get along well with others. He is very loyal to Risou, however, and slightly over protective. Because of this, he never goes into his Pokeball. He is the perfect guard dog. He follows commands without thought, and is quick to attack.
How you obtained that Pokemon:
Battled him with Abby, weakened him, and caught him. No special story.
Pokemon:
Marill (AKA Mary)
Pokemon's movesets:
Bubblebeam | Aqua Tail | Rain Dance | Aqua Ring
Pokemon description:
Mary is a very care free Pokemon. She loves to have fun, and play tricks. She ignores responsibilities, and will sometimes disobey Risou in battle. She does like to collect things, and be helpful. She also loves to eat, and will often sneak away to grab food.
How you obtained that pokemon:
Received after winning a local battle contest.
Pokemon:
Flaaffy (AKA Shock)
Pokemon's movesets:
Thunder Wave | Charge | Thundershock | Discharge
Pokemon description:
Flaaffy is a very laid back, and lazy Pokemon. She would prefer to spend her days napping, and is a good cuddle buddy if you can get over the fact that your hair will probably stand on end. She is extremely used to people, and loves attention. She is very gentle with children, and has a very good head on her shoulders.
How you obtained that pokemon:
Gift from her mother for her 15th birthday.
Pokemon:
Jumpluff (AKA Cheer)
Pokemon's movesets:
Giga Drain | Leech Seed | Sleep Powder | Synthesis (Only used twice per battle)
Pokemon description:
Cheer is a very happy, and bouncy Pokemon. She gets along with every Pokemon on the team, including Grim. She hates to see people sad, and has a wonderful sense of humor. She hates being cooped up, and spends most of her time out of her Pokeball with Grim and Risou. While a splendid battler, she would much rather prefer contests.
How you obtained that pokemon:
A gift from her Father on her 16th birthday.
Your name/nickname: Risou
How many years you've been rping: 2 years +, can't remember the exact number.
Role Play Sample:
Saturdays. They could seriously be such a drag. For someone like Risou that is. She stayed up late last night, cuddling with Grim and Shock while watching a battle tournament. It had taken her forever to get her hair to lay flat again, thanks to Shock's electricity. She paused every now and then, her hands in her pockets, to window shop. She had no money on her, and had nothing else to do, no where to go. She could probably train...but they do enough of that already. It was time for a break. A break. Perfect. She turned and strode through the town until she found what she'd been looking for.
The building was small, and not at all fancy. It didn't look like it would attract many people, but there were tons of people running around, followed closely by their Pokemon. She opened the gate, allowing Grim to walk through first, before entering herself. Her brown eyes browsed through the faces, glancing once at the building. It was a concession stand, and the people behind the counter were busy preparing both human and Pokefood. She tilted the stick of her lollipop into the air, shaking her head from side to side, making her brown hair swish around her delicate face. She glanced down at Grim, who turned to look up at her. She patted his head in between his ram horns, and the Houndoom let out a pleased whimper.
She returned her hands to her pockets, and brought out the rest of her Pokemon. After a bit of a stretch, they turned to look at their trainer. She sighed, and spat out her stick, then gave them a grin. She let out a squeal, and dashed into further into the park, followed by her Pokemon. After their game of tag, the Pokemon split into groups, while Risou lay down on the grass, and looked up at the sky. She'd never been so content. She could understand why some people would raise Pokemon, and never battle them. This peace, it was relaxing.
